Amsterdam overview

Good for partygoers and families, Holland’s capital is one of Europe’s great centres and is a bastion of liberalness. You can rent women and suck on joints here, legally, and also take in some of the world’s best museums where classic Rembrandt and Van Gogh works, and pieces by noted others, reside. Amsterdam doesn’t seem like a capital city, or even a city for that matter; having more of a village feel owing to pedestrianised streets, tight alleys and extremely friendly locals. The best way to see Amsterdam is by bicycle and canal boat, either of which will get to you all sorts of nooks and crannies. The downside to Amsterdam is the generally dreary weather and lack of hotel rooms on occasion.
